Our Halloween celebrations are tomorrow. Students should bring their costumes to school and we will change into them in the afternoon. The parade, weather permitting, is at 2:30.

Tonight's Homework and MEAP Reminder

Homework for Monday, October 12:

  • Math: Study Link 2-8; Unit 2 test is Friday- study guide has been sent home

Tomorrow the students will begin MEAP testing. As should be the case everyday, please make sure your child is present and well-rested. Encourage your child to eat a good breakfast. Students will be testing in the morning and afternoon this Tuesday and in the morning on Thursday. Testing will continue next Tuesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday from 6:30-7:15 p.m. the 4th grade teachers are hosting a "Parent Support Night" in the Rogers Media Center. At the meeting we will explain the math algorithms used in fourth grade and discuss homework success strategies. We encourage all parents to attend.

This Friday is our field trip to the Rock, Gem, and Mineral show. Mrs. Seidl's class is in need of parent volunteers. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can chaperone. We'll leave at approximately 8:15 a.m. and return to school around 12:30.
